Claire was still feeling emo and mopey when she opened the Divine Leaf today. She'd still help any customer who needed it, though. She could probably use the distraction.

Walter came in for a pot of darjeeling and some reading material. Given Lucy's message to him, he rather expected someone to make it into town soon, and he wanted some way to pass the time for a bit. How better than with a cup of tea and a book? Yes, a cup of tea after killing things might have been even better, but this would do.
Mm. Not quite as good as if Aziraphale had been in, but Walter had no reason to complain about the quality of the tea. He'd just turned away from the counter to go in search of a book when he spotted movement outside the shop and a familiar improbably tall figure with less-familiar long white hair.
Ah yes, he hadn't really had time to prepare to travel, had he? Walter put his cup back down on the counter and headed for the door, smiling to cover the concern that seeing Vlad like that roused in him.
Owen? Had enough teen angst going on already, and all of it justified, thankyouverymuch. But at the same time... books! Honestly, how could you expect him to resist poking around?

He snapped the cell phone closed with a click and caught sight of Walter.

Not that he was actually looking for anything.
