During Sam's push-ups, a girl with red-brown hair squatted down near him.

"Isn't this park great?" she greeted.

Sam grunted out a 'yeah' and then finished his set before sitting up and looking over at the girl.

Which led to him blinking repeatedly. "You have a tail."

"Yeah, I do," SG said, frowning slightly. She was getting flashes back to her old school days. "You're not gonna make fun of it, are you?"

"No, no, I, uh..." Sam got a little flustered and immediately felt guilty. "It's not every day you see a girl with a tail, that's all," he said. "Sorry. I guess you're new in town?"

Dean was on his way to the Leaf, carrying a plate of what was either blondies or edible bricks.

He stopped with a grin when he saw his brother, though.

"Well, nice to see you takin' some of my advice, for once,"

Sam shrugged. "It's nice weather and it's not like I have anything better to do this week."

He stared at the plate in his brother's hand. "What the hell is that?"

"It's a plate of blondies. You know, those cookie-brownie things."

"Uh huh," Sam said. "They don't look very... edible."

"How many are you up to?" Jake asked, leaning against the side of the bench as he watched Sam.

"I'm doing sets of 50 between other things," Sam said, grunting a little. "Up to 30 for this set."

"Impressive." Honestly, he could probably do that without trouble, but since Jake himself had never had the patience for repetitive exercises, he rather admired the determination in others.

"You know, I thought the point of Spring break was not to do anything that involved hard work."

Sam shrugged. "I guess. But I get bored. Besides, I've been slacking on staying in shape."

Pip was very used to his usual morning run.

In fact, he could almost do it with his eyes closed.

As a result, he didn't see Sam doing pushups until he was almost on top of him, skidded around in a flail of limbs, and ended up across the path in a rather undignified mess.

"Dude, are you okay?" Sam asked, once he realized what happened.

A muffled "ow" came from the side, followed by a more clear: "I'll be fine. Help me up?"

Sam pulled himself to his feet and went to extend a hand to Pip.
