Carriage House Porch, Monday Evening

"Oh, fine!" Thelma said, bursting out the doors of the dorm house onto the porch. "Be that way. Go off and take care of your mum. God knows nobody is just hanging around, back from the dead just because you got her sacrificed or anything!"

She huffed and sat down on the steps of the porch to pout.

She missed Cassie already.

Malachi had been out for a walk when he spotted a familiar face. "Bad day?" he asked, leaning against the porch rail.

"Bloody hell," Thelma said, jumping a bit. "Scare a girl to death!"

"Bit late for that," Malachi grinned.

"...You seem to know an awful lot for someone I haven't met," Thelma said.

Ryo-Ohki seemed to like exploring near the the dorms as she was sniffing around the Carriage house when she spotted the girl on the porch. The hair on her back stood a little but the girl didn't seem to be dangerous. Cautiously she walked over to the porch and looked up at the pouting girl.

"Meow" which would be cabbit speak for 'Are you alright?'

"...and now bizarre furry animals can see me." She gave it a little wave. "Hi."

"Meow!" Ryo-Ohki replied hopping up the porch steps to sit beside the girl. She could already tell that this girl couldn't understand her like the other students she met but that never stopped her from being social.

"Wish I could pet you," Thelma said. "But if I could, then you'd be dead, and that would make you much less appealing."

Thelma made a face.

"Blimey, being a ghost makes you morbid."

Faith walked by, and stopped, well, dead. "Hey. I've been looking for you."

Thelma looked up. "You have?"

Faith flopped down on the porch. "Yeah, I needed a good friend, who's also sexy as hell to whine to." Faith looked like she was about to cry, if Faith ever did that.

"You starting to go in for necrophilia, huh?" Thelma teased.

Lilly stomped out of the house and onto the porch. "I'm Logan Echolls and I like older women," she muttered. "Bastard. Have a jealous fit on me and then try to get into the pants of every girl in the damn class."

"That's what you get for going after blokes!" Thelma spouted at Lilly, even though she didn't expect to be heard.

"God, why do I even bother?"

"That's a very good question," Thelma said.

Passing by on her way for her usual late night stalking through the town, Evangeline gave an idle glance toward the pouting ghost girl on the porch. She let out a disapproving (and rather hypocritical) grunt, shaking her head lightly, and pausing a moment, finger to chin, as if trying to figure out which path to choose tonight. If the girl wanted to say anything, she'd have a chance. If not, Evangeline would simply continue along. This was about the extent of the effort for communication she was going to bother with, though.
