Sam was on his way out, intending to go to town and find a coffee shop, when he spotted Lilly and her belongings.

"Hey," he greeted her with an easy smile. "You need some help with those bags?"

Pippi decided to have her morning coffee on the porch of the Carriage House today. So she filled up a large thermos and walked across the yard.

Lilly turned from where she was watching Sam to smile at the new arrival.

"Uhm, Sam might need help." She said with a smile. "He took the heaviest one."

Weevil was still a little asleep when he wandered out to the porch.

"Hey Lilly," he said.

Pause.

Blink blink.

The silence that followed, that would have been caused by Weevil's brain having turned to mush.
