Cameron had gotten a call asking her to come down and man the clinic for the day.

So there she was, sitting at the front desk when she wasn't checking on patients. It was amazing to her that House had already gotten behind on his charting. She knew that she shouldn't enable him, but she also couldn't let the charting go undone.

Because it was the only way to keep him from pestering the nurses and getting himself upset over being stuck here, Sam was still sedated, and on some nice painkillers to boot.

He wasn't happy about it, but it was working.

"Don't know," Sam said groggily once he'd processed the question, annoyed that it had taken an extra moment or two. "Demon. Couldn't see him though. What, you here to finish the job?"
