Wow. It's been a while. I've gone places and done things and even updated WHILE ON a vacation, but not ABOUT said vacation. Oops. :P

Any mentioned photo ops WILL be scanned and then I'll edit this post to include them, but it's late and I'm lazy right now.

I'm still a little bit in shock about that one. I mean, when he was rubbing my back during the photo op, I'm thinking "right, my life is complete". THEN he pulled me into a hug and offered me his cheek to kiss and I'm like "HOLY EXPLETIVE THIS IS EVERY DREAM COME TRUE"... then he remembered me the next day and when he said my name with that voice I just about died with happy feels.

Ahhhhhh!!! *Collapses*

Heee! Shanks made up for the non-believers last weekend. Seriously. I wish I 'd had a bit more time to chat with him about it, but just the fact that he CONFIRMED MY THEORY means a lot.

The photo op situation on the Sunday was a joke...utterly mismanaged and chaotic...far too many people for one photographer to cope with and not enough information spread to the crew....we heard that 5000 fans turned up for the Misha Collins one!!

Great reviews...Michael, Lexa and Paul were awesome with their time....I would definitely go to ECCC again if they do...

Will try and work on mine when I get back home and have a faster keyboard...:)

The amount of people that showed up for Misha Collins doesn't surprise me in the slightest. I don't think the ECCC folks realized JUST how popular he would be with the rabid tweens.

Last year, each celeb had 2 photo ops a day which spread things out quite nicely and made it easier to get a photo op signed. Of course, they were also about 3 times smaller last year. I think they weren't quite prepared for the magnitude of the con this year and that's why everything felt at least mildly disorganized. The Minions up on the 6th floor for the panels and autographs were absolutely wonderful tho. Very polite and much better organized.

I prefer Dragon*Con tho, as far as organization goes (aside from the pre-reg lines in which one can be waiting for more than 4 hours). They know what they're doing. But then, they've also had 26 years to get it right, and ECCC is only like 6 or 7 years old.

Yes to the 6th floor...I sooooo agree...it was a pleasure to wait for autos and signings, all the staff/volunteers were wonderful!!...and the organisation for the panels was excellent...

All in all, for 4 newbies - me, Jim, Mon & my friend PJ, we all had a ball and would go back in a heartbeat...
