I don't know where you ended up on the to read/not to read decision but it's not that bad? Or maybe it is but I'm pretty bad at writing 'bad sex' even though I don't want to be so it's not that explicit. And SPOILER ALERT, they usually end up talking things out which is the opposite of bad, so.

ETA: I used bad too many time in that explanation so I decided to clarify: I don't think the 'bad sex' is really that terrible because I am awful at writing it so it's not that explicit. My Jeff and Annie are really good at communication, instead.

There's fanfic I don't read for that exact reason too - I mentioned to busy below that I have a bunch of fic I'm in the process of working on (and the fic xchang is coming up too!) so there will be lots to distract in the coming weeks, I'm sure :)

I really do enjoy the 'perfect' smut but I think realistic sex is important. I don't think I'm particularly good at writing it, mind you, but I figured I'd try it out.

And I actually think that their comfort level and their willingness to talk is hot. It's great when they magically know what to do with each other and the sex is phenomenal but that is a rare occurrence. I can't recommend TrisB's Erotic Hermeneutics of Failure enough. The link is above in my comment to busycybering - it's one of my favourite fics!

P.S. Thank you for the positive feedback!

As someone who had delayed ejaculation for a while I know all about the second one. The only person I've ever told is my current gf (of 3 years) after a similar experience. She wasn't crying, thankfully, but bad sex was had.

Thanks so much for commenting and sharing your experience. Unfortunately, we do not currently allow anon comments off the fic battle post. I completely understand wanting to stay anon to share this sentiment, but alas, we must be consistent in enforcing the rule. Thanks for understanding. We will be sure to post if we change this rule!
