Where do you live now We live in IL
How long has the military been part of your life?: I married him when I was 18, he was in the Marines. I was a Marine wife for 3 years. He's been out for 2 years, and recently decided he's rejoining.
Are you/your spouse a lifer or just contract?: He will be a Lifer
If your husband/wife/SO wasn't in the military, what career would he/she be doing? He got medically discharged, and has tried the civilian jobs... they just aren't for him.
Are you in college/graduated college/planning to go: I'm in cosmetology school... and absolutely in love with it.

Status (dating/engaged/married): Straddling the line between dating and getting engaged.
How long have you been together?: A grand total of a year! Haha. We're actually pretty serious, and there has been moving in talk thrown around, as well as a planned trip to the Ukraine to meet his family (he's an emigree).
How long has the military been part of your life?: My granddad was a Marine for 20+ years. I grew up around a large base. As far back as I can remember, there it is!
Are you/your spouse a lifer or just contract?: He's up in the air about it. He loves what he does, but gets rather sick of it sometimes. He graduated from the Academy, loves being a pilot, and is damn good at it, so my guess is he's going to stop hemming and hawing and stay in.
Are you in college/graduated college/planning to go: I am in college. YAY SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!
