WTF?

What the hell kind of store has a great relationship with a customer for years, to the point where that customer moves across the country and still continues to do business with them even though it would be easier and cheaper to order direct from the manufacturers online... and then just stops returning the customer's phone calls ( Read more... )

... ouch. That's both baffling and incredibly aggravating.

I would offer to go and check it out for you, because I do live in Guelph, but I don't have a car so if it's in Acton... yeah. Still, if you need someone local to do something, lemme know and I'll see what I can do?

*blinks* Oh, right, I did know that, didn't I? *laughs* I knew there was someone on my flist from Guelph that wasn't from my gamer group, but I'd forgotten who. Thanks for the offer, I think I've got a volunteer from Brampton, she goes to that store sometimes anyway.

*delurks in awe* You did Teresa Wentzler's Celestial Dragon? I have the pattern for that. Every once and a while I pull it out, look at it for a few minutes, shake my head, and put it back.

Of course, the fact that my siblings keep reproducing and have forced me into stitching a steady stream of birth records doesn't help.

I hope you get it back. That's way too much work to lose because someone is being a jerk.

By the way, big fan. ^_~

Thank you! Yeah, it was WAY beyond my level, but I was just naive enough to try it and just stubborn enough to finish it - with help. Cnd and I would trade off whenever one of us got frustrated enough to toss it into a wall. *grins*

Ah, I suppose that's the value in having a partner who shares your interests. I'll have to work on that. ^^

...oh, why not *just delurks permanently* Hi, I'm Mara, nice to meet you ^^;; I might as well be a fangirl and get it over with. Are you planning on continuing/completing Under the Mask? I have an inexplicable fascination with that story, and I really want to know how things turn out. (It's inexplicable because I have never watched PoT and have no idea who the characters really are. You are one of only two authors whose works I read regardless of fandom.)

/fangirling

Sometimes I just disgust myself. ^_~ Okay, I'll go back to being shy now!

^___^ Nice to meet you. Don't be too shy, I only bite when asked. And I love meeting new fans.

I'm not sure if Under the Mask will be completed or not, honestly. I ran into a roadblock when I discovered that I had - not gotten some information wrong, exactly, but hadn't looked into it deeply enough and it screwed up my plot for the story. Also it's been long enough since I started it, now, that it's hard for me to get back into it. There's a part of me that would like to finish it just so it's not still hanging, but I can't make any promises.

You're the second person who has asked, though, and the more people who ask the more likely it is I'll be guilted into finishing it, so you never know. *grins*
