[Fic] I Will Carry You - FFVII, Zack Cloud & Aerith

This is - not a request fic, exactly, since I couldn't get her to actually GIVE me a request, but a reward fic for elict, in return for this awesome pic from 'Permission to Touch'. I have no idea if it's what she'd have wanted, but it was what decided to be written. I don't argue with the muses if I can avoid it. *sweatdrops

Err... sorry? *sheepish* Believe it or not, crying isn't actually the reaction I'd intended when writing this. Not that it's a wrong reaction, I just didn't realize it would wrench at people so strongly. But both my pre-readers finished in tears, and now so is everyone else. o.O *hands out tissues*

HEE, that's an awesome song for Zack, I just never thought of it. I own that soundtrack, I love it. *loves on it*

Brothers Under the Sun works, I love that song it's so beautiful. The one... damn it, I can't think what it's called, but the really sad one that's played when Spirit is travelling on the transport train - that always struck me as being a song for SOMETHING.

Unless that is Brothers Under the Sun and it's just been too long since I listened to the soundtrack. Argh. *goes off to find it*

Wonderful! *_* I wibbled. T_T That was a fantastic take on the idea that Zack was the voice that kept giving Cloud advice -- I always thought it was Zack, too, not the younger version of Cloud. The Zack theory better explains how Cloud could assimilate so much of Zack's personality and movements, and makes it easier to understand how he (Zack) showed up at the end of AC (unless you assume he sat his ass down in the Lifestream and refused to move for any reason, which I can so see him doing).

That's a great song for them too. :D Remind me to ask you for it, next time I catch you on AIM.

I like your idea of how Zack connected with Cloud. I also still prefer to think that the voice in Cloud's head it Zack ~_^

... I always thought the voice Cloud heard at the beginning was Sephiroth. You mean to tell me it wasn't? ;____; I think I like my version better.

*laughs* There seems to be a lot of debate about who exactly the voice(s) belong to. This is just the way I've always envisioned it.
