Damn LJ character limits. This isn't two chapters, it's meant to be read all at once, but I was forced to break it up to post it. And yes, you read the pairing order correctly. I've been....disappeared! o.o And yeah, I can see why you don't like breaking them apart. It interrupts the story a bit. Stupid LJ maximum work count. *shakes fist* But short!short stories are HARRDDD ;; especially when they have the potential for a lot of content.

Sidenote: (something i didnt mention before) Having 'Tori be in Boston/Cambridge was full of awesome cause I go to school in Boston. X3

*squee* wonderful comment, thank you. I love getting thoughtful comments like this. I don't think I'll be writing any more from this timeline, but you never know. If I were going to do more, I'd have structured it differently and turned it into a chaptered fic. But I wanted to NOT get dragged into another epic at the moment. *laughs*

Great backstory to this! I really like the whole detective/yakuza thing, and especially the part about how he doesn't even know what the name on his birth certificate is -- the little details make this even better than it already is. ^__^ Hooray for Silver Pair! ♥
