15th century wallet

So I finally got a hold of "Purses in Pieces"!
It's a fantastic book!

It contains a multitude og great pictures and descriptions og medieval pouches, bags, purses and other skuff.
So I decided to start making some of the items described in the book. I also thought that it would be a good idea to start with something small.

That's a very good wallet. But I've got one question.
Don't the coins full out of the wallet esp when it's in a purse?

I guess they will... but I think it depends on were you keep your wallet. If you keep it in at flat compartment it will keep the wallet closed.
Girdlepurses tend to be very flat, så if you keep it in one of those, i don't think it will be a problem. The same goes for pockets.
