It's a pity that Ursula Vernon has no more time to update her gearworld blog; still, her site, metalandmagic.com remains a cornucopia of raw imagination and skillful sketches. You should definitely check out a piece called Orc Nouveau :-) Some of the paintings, though, I just don't know what to make of. -

The clip is loaded with geek culture references. Watch for the road flares arranged in a Pac-man pattern, for MC Escher (who is White & Nerdy's favourite MC), and for the Star Wars kid impersonation. -

Bram Stoker's Dracula is what they call an epistolary novel - that is, the narrative is driven by letters, memos and diary entries written by the characters. And now I find out that, in a wonderful abuse of LiveJournal, the dracula1897 community has been posting these letters at the precise dates the characters wrote them. Neverwhere
So I'm halfway into Neil Gaiman's Neverwhere - not the book, but the video series that the book was based upon (ripped & shared by some video freebooter for our viewing pleasure). You can probably find it on the torrents.
