The best book I've read this year has just won the Pulitzer Prize for fiction.

The Road, by Cormac McCarthy.

I'm stoked for the author, and I'm grateful that I found this book and Amazon and gave it a try. Check it out.

Fortune will smile upon you this week, only it'll do so in that shitty, passive-aggressive way Fortune has of smiling-you know the kind where you can tell it's just being polite, but that, really, it doesn't give a damn about how you're actually doing. Ugh, seriously, fuck Fortune.

We termed someone today at work that I've always hated. Someone who didn't know him well asked what his job title had been.
