I'm making a sword. A REAL sword. We're talking steel here, folks! It's going pretty well so far, I've almost finished one of the blades (it'll probably be bladed on both sides) My dad will help me make the hilt out of wood, and then I'll have one hell of a weapon! -
Being a bard
I just got inside from like half an hour of playing guitar for little kids XD I was outside playing, and a bunch of 'em came and sat on the porch with me while I sang! One even wanted me to sing "99 Red Balloons", which was fun!

Triumphant return from parts unknown
Just got back from the Retreat. I found it surprisingly fun. I mean, the team building, trust exercises weren't fun, and there were occasional annoying people, but it was neat. I did both Low Ropes and High Ropes, which were fun, as well as making a really cool dream-catcher! ^_^ I even played some guitar, including filk, which amilyn joined me ( Read more... ) -

My friend from Wisconsin came over today. We had fun, building and painting models (Warhammer 40,000), watching anime and Juno, playing Warhammer 40,000, throwing knives and firing the bow. Fun time, fun time. -

Well, it's weekend time! Plenty of homework, though. Anyway, I went out for dinner tonight with my mom and dad. We went to Hamburger Mary's, possibly the gayest non gay-bar restaurant in the world. Had a choir show today. Just a little thing for some grade school kids. I sang "When a Felon's Not Engaged in his Employment" and dance in "Stomp Your Foot Upon the Floor". It was pretty fun ^_^ -
Post Lock-in
Well, I just got home from the lock-in! I did not sleep AT ALL! For me, it was pretty much me and Lloyd playing video games. There were plenty of annoyances, but all in all, it turned out pretty well. Plus, I got to huggle Gabs, which was a major plus ( Read more... )
