Townhome is in Richardson. There are more available, but that's a bit of a jaunt from your target search.

I think this is exhibit A for why you SHOULDN'T PUT YOUR SOUND EQUIPMENT IN THE BASEMENT IN TEXAS!!!!!

The universe might be giving you a little d'oh now to stop you from the big D'oh! later.

Because seriously, is it worth it to trust all of your equipment to somebody's emphatic assurance (even your own) that this "won't happen again"?

Actually, there should never be sound equipment anywhere near enough to the floor for this to be a problem. Instruments, perhaps, but even those should be on cases/in stands, so they aren't at risk.

I'm doing well enough, despite my back hating me. How 'bout you? Coming to harass us at faire this year?

I'm doing well enough when I'm not thinking about money problems. I plan to come out to faire, but I have NO idea when/if I'll be able to. A great thing would be to get a job or two and still have at least one weekend day free every once in a while, but... well, we'll see.
