OK, so I'm finally back from my month away in Europe. 10 pounds lighter in weight somehow, but a foot-high stack of mostly hardcover French comics heavier, overall. But to my great delight, upon my return, thanks to the wonderful Emma, a friend of my best pal Rob Andrews I now have a Matt Smith-autographed copy of my Doctor Who drawing!

It is an exceptionally long list. But to cut it short, lots of as-yet-(and unlikely to be ever)-untranslated Joann Sfar, David B., and Christophe Blain. Lots of Mahler, Lewis Trondheim, Bruno, some Winshluss, Aude Picault (She is AMAZING), and Manu Larcenet.

If it makes you feel any better I got a Spanish book I can't read too. It's called Paolo Pinocchio, and the art is AAAAMMMAAAAAZZZZIIIIINGGG!!!!
