This is Brett - Mike's boyfriend. I thought I should tell his LJ friends about his health. He is very ill.

Mike has been slowly getting more sick over the last month or two, but stubbornly refused to do anything about it. He has been in ICU, unconscious, and on a ventilator since last Tuesday. He has a severe case of PCP pneumonia.

I am back! After  my  entry, my desktop totally died on me. So now I have a kicky new Dell laptop!

I like it, but I'm still getting used to typing on it.

The almost "5th Beatle", Billy Preston passed away yesterday.  It reminded me of an idea I've had rolling around in my noggin for awhile.  The Beatles have two aboveground members left, as do the Who. Why not form a band with them and call it the Whotles? They have a bassist (Paul), a drummer (Ringo), a guitartist (Pete), and a singer (Daltrey).  ( Read more... )
