I hit the 20,000 mark today! Yay!

I'm really glad to know that people not only agree with me, but can respect how I feel. Which, I didn't doubt for MOST of my friends list, but it's not always easy to gauge a persons feelings online.

Yeah, there's the double edge. It's none of my business - which is why I try not to get into their personal lives so much - and I wouldn't take this to Jared and be all, I'm concerned you're moving too fast, let's think about this, haha.

but yes! insane! and I just wanted people to know how I felt so I can move on :D

I agree with what you think of Jared's wedding...it just seems so odd that he'd get married to someone he's only known for a year when he not long ago broke up from his fiancee...just weird

Yeah that's pretty much why I don't do RPS.
On the off chance I were to procreate with someone then I'd prefer we got married first (for assorted reasons, mostly boring cold calculating ones). But overall I don't see why people have such big hang ups about it.

I'm that way with most fandoms; especially CS because well there's basically no canon anyway (re;characterisation). And I totally have those moments you do with MASH too.

lol I've never watched NCIS:LA ... well saw the crossover/pilot/whatever with it and was totally underwhelmed.

Haha, NCIS:LA has NOTHING on NCIS, but it is terribly gay. The episode I watched the other night, the lady says to Chris O'Donnell, 'take [the love interest] out and then take [LL CoolJ] out, you know how he gets'. Haha. They're heterolifemates. Or really gay.

For what it's worth, I agree re: Jared. Good luck to him, but if I heard of someone doing that in 'real life' I'd be kind of ....dude, what's the story? So, yeah.

And with regard to fanon in SPN fandom, I'm weirdly aware of the fanon because it's not how I see the show. I feel like there's a characterisation of the boys that fandom has adopted that's inspired by the show but not totally of the show that I happen to kind of hate, which sucks a little. lol.

It's strange that I'm into SPN, really. I'm not into the long, plotty case fics, and I'm not into wincest, so that seems to limit my options. I read stories from time to time but not enough to get any real feel for that, adopted persona that you mention. I've never really cracked the surface - I guess I've come close after Castiel came on board and I was desperate to pull the character apart more - and haven't really felt like I was missing out on much.

So, yeah!
