I like your thoughts on the episode and I particularly agree with #2! I thought it was pretty cute, too, the way Castiel said that Sam was his friend. <3

I loved Castiel defending Sam! I was all, OH MAN, CAS <3 He's definitely changed, HEAVENS REBEL. but I love it. I love this Cas so so much. He's no longer just some angel on a mission, taking orders. He's actually doing this because HE wants to, and he's doing it his own way. Loveee it.

Also, I realise actually, that the whole Winchester parent thing was actually pretty intense. And sad. The way John was going on about hunting and kids...it was a really fantastic scene, imo. It made you think so differently about everything that's happened.

HMMMM.

Honestly, I was a leetle irked by the 'Sam is my friend' bit mostly because we've had fuck all Dean/Cas interaction for aaaaages. I don't really give a crap about Sam and Cas interacting but if they're screwing me out of Dean/Cas I'm not happy ;P
