Awesome! So glad it went well. Your experience is very much like mine was 13 years ago. The tool they used to slice the cornea was what I called a little lawnmower, and the pressure was weird but didn't actually hurt due to the numbing drops. I was prepared for everything except the smell! LOL And I likened it to looking through a window smeared with petroleum jelly. But, the next day my vision was good enough to pass a driving test, and the second day it was better than 20/20! Did they give you those plastic bug eye things to tape to your face when you sleep so you can't rub your eyes? I'm so excited for you! I wonder how long it will take before you no longer instinctively reach up to adjust glasses on your nose. ;) Congrats, darlin!
Congratulations! Mine was just a few years ago, and I remember being all done with the "squeegee" moments but otherwise fine as long as I didn't think too much about how Clockwork Orange it all was. Glad you're on the other side of it now, and hope recovery continues to be uneventful. :)
Ever since the procedure was first invented/announced, I've been telling myself, "someday, when it's mature... when it's cheap..." (and then the real one, "when I'm not terrified of people taking lasers to my one and only pair of eyes" O.O ). So, at the very least, you're braver than I. And I wish you the best of luck with a speedy recovery, etc.

In the meantime, isn't vision awesome? XD Sounds like even if things itch right now, you're satisfied with the procedure's results.
*hugs*
