My gastroenterologist says the x-ray says my gut is officially A-ok. Getting up at 6 am and drinking the contrast sucked, but they were doing some live x-rays and it was really neat to watch the TV screen with my intestines traced out on it. Choir concert tonight ROCKED! We performed Act II of "La Boheme", and a medley of songs from "Rent." So much fun to perform! So I'm sick. AGAIN. I was in the hospital briefly for tests (a CT scan). AGAIN. It's not as bad this time, though, at least in the short-term. There's some inflammation and thickening in various parts of my gut, specifically the small bowel and illeum. So I went to the neurologist on Friday. I'm officially discharged! That's right, I now stand a good chance of convincing a cop I'm not totally drunk. My stamina is still pretty bad (I tire easily), but that'll just take time.
