I'm subscribing to the concept of 'think locally, fuck globally' this year. :) I've decided to put as much focus and energy into paying attention to the external and more time judging my actions, goals and random nonsense on myself and my own journey...which I'm positively HORRID at. I'm also going to learn bongos this year. I have no deep, spiritual reason behind this...but come on! Freakin bongos right!?! Who couldn't use a little bongo in their life? (lol) As for the external 'world at large' I agree. The roving toddlers at the bar get old REAL fast. It's almost getting worse than that. More like dogs than toddlers...what with the leg hunching and howling. I made the girls sit down and watch Idiocracy the other night ;) I'd really like to see more of the grown ups out there focus more concern on being genuine and expressing their chosen form of art and/or communication to sort of share that energy as opposed to being worried about what's visually perfect, technically precise and really living in that 'shock value'
