I'm getting a little burnt on crochet right now, though. I have ideas for more, but I don't know if I'll make any for a while.

I don't mind mailing them to Indy; I even know where they are! Email me with their address, and then whenever they get back into the states they can return them if you don't need them there.

Very nice. Do the crown-shaped solid areas give the bag extra strength, or are they merely decorative? Or both?

They're just decorative. They do provide a tiny bit of distortion-protection, but since the background is a simple mesh it's going to distort no matter what's inside and then return back to shape after being emptied. :)

I could make a straight-up mesh bag, but that's boring to look at and boring to make. :)
