I made another bag, with a different stitch pattern for the mesh. I hope this one will be less downward-stretchy than the first one was; if it's not, no big deal as I've got lots more cotton yarn. :)

I had (have) a lot of miscellaneous cotton yarn, so I decided to make a grocery bag out of it. I really only use plastic grocery bags for cleaning the catbox; most of them end up piled up in the corner of the pantry, and none of the local stores take them for recycling anymore.

In order to finish the sweater I'm working on, I need to weave some yarn through the chains on the bodice so it's not so peekaboo. The yarn I chose is a brushed mohair, but it's really thin so I have to double it. So, I need to unwind the entire 98-yard ball, fold it in half, and rewind it so I can weave in one very long spiral instead of needing ( Read more... )
