Seeing as there's a limited number of magicians and willing, qualified persons on board, I would be perfectly happy to pick up where my Warden left off in potion-making. It provides a necessary service and -- let's face it -- non-magic medicine doesn't work as quickly or effectively in some cases. I also do not come with the same "ethical" double- ( Read more... )

my magic is better than yours, magic do you has it, potions, snape, actually in a good mood

Did my catchy advertisement not make that obvious?

Money is useless here, and you don't do anything unless there's something in it for you.

You people are so hyper-focused on money. Where I come from, there's also trade.

'Do you go to bed at night and get up again in the morning?'

Ah, admittedly this isn't something that I have to do... but I thought that this was simply how humans do it and even welcome it at times?

It was a joke. You haven't entered a proper bazaar if you don't hear a shopkeeper throwing out obvious traits in the hopes of snagging a shopper in need of some mindless 'home remedies' to fix mundane occurrences.

Merely offering a valuable service.

So is there an angle you're working here or are you just trying to tick off your Warden?

My Warden is perfectly fine with it, thank you.

Seriously? After everything that went down this week, you're offering more potions?

I don't see why not. It's a service that need not be kept from the public because one misguided vampire chose to abuse the process.

Sometimes they just don't know any better, after all.

Sold with the stipulation that potions may only be consumed by the person who buys it, naturally. I'm perfectly capable of making them that way.

Really? I didn't know it could work that way. [ Stop it Steph. Potions will not help with your vampire problem. Don't even think about it. ]

I suppose they all have nasty side-effects, though.

All medicines have side-effects. To change one thing in your body for a time, something else must counter-balance it.

...most of those aren't what magic's for. Forces like that shouldn't be just thrown around willy-nilly. That's a good way to go insane from too much power.

Well if you're going to be worried about that, why get out of bed at all?

I don't do magic.

This is a choice you make, I'm sure, but as a consequence you can't blow things up with your mind.
