Seeing as there's a limited number of magicians and willing, qualified persons on board, I would be perfectly happy to pick up where my Warden left off in potion-making. It provides a necessary service and -- let's face it -- non-magic medicine doesn't work as quickly or effectively in some cases. I also do not come with the same "ethical" double-standards; potions are for the people that can buy them where I come from, not for the people who have magic enough not to need them already.
Need to heal up quickly? I can make a potion for that.
