By chance, I dropped by the Occupy Vancouver camp on Saturday, just a few hours after Ashlie Gough had died. The police, fire department and coroners were still there. Again, nothing done towards landing a permanent job today. I spent most of the day at the copyright conference at the Waldorf Hotel (with all due respect, I just don't get the tiki aesthetic). Mark Hosler of Negativland was kind enough to sign (in blurry magic marker) a DVD, along with a warning: "Do not sell on eBay".
