I'll be reading some of my work (probably my flash fiction) at The Writer's Studio reading series, along with several other local writers. Should be a good time. I'm scheduled to read just before the break.

My flash fiction story/essay "Worn-out Monsters" is now up on Every Day Fiction, and getting good reviews. It's based on an off-the-cuff piece I did for one of the Circlet Press author chats.

This is me reading my flash story "Disappearing Girl" at the launch for Every Day Fiction's third anthology. There will be a podcast with better sound quality later.

Circlet Press' latest offering, Elementary Erotica, includes my short story "Songs Without Words", with a dash or two of steampunk.

Now I'm working on the next Circlet anthology, themed on the writings of HP Lovecraft. It's tough going, at least if you're not into M/M pairings. Arthur Conan Doyle at least gave Holmes a female foil in Irene Adler. ( Read more... )

After roughly a month since The Innocent's Progress dropped, I have some hard won lessons.
