i'm alive and sober. At this point its about all I really care to say. So I'll share a few photos.

Well, alive and sober are 2 positive attributes. Beyond that I hope you're enjoying your work. This has been an excellent season for dealing with downed or dead fall trees. Stay in touch - you are missed. Keep safe, friend.

Alive and sober are both good things! I'm glad to hear it. I really admire and envy people who can go tree climbing like that with no fear and agile facility.

Oh there is plenty of fear. Its what we do with the fear that matters. I just force it down, say a prayer and continue climbing.

Well that's darn brave! I was much better at facing fears when I was younger. I had/have a big fear of heights and I took a job as a roofers assistant. Carrying two bundles of shingles on my shoulder up a ladder sure did take my mind of the height issue. And I guess being strapped in with proper gear would help a lot too. That shot from up in the tree you posted is really great :)
