Ainsley fumbled with the clasp her of necklace for a minute before she got it off. It was very cold outside and she hadn't warmed up all the way yet from being in the car. They'd been out to a celebratory dinner after Cameron's promotion ceremony with his parents, the rest of his team, Jack O'Neill, Elizabeth and John and their kids and a few other people. Thankfully nobody had expected to be invited back to her house afterwards, because there would be another party over the weekend that would be sort of a combined promotion/engagement party. It was a bitterly cold January night and even though they'd blasted the heat in the car on the drive home, Ainsley was still freezing. She glanced down at her bare legs - she'd stripped off her heels and her panty hose already - and wondered if Cam would kill her if he came into the bedroom to find her in sweatpants and a fleece pullover ( ... )

Cam straightened behind her so she could see him in the mirror again. He'd taken off his coat, uniform jacket and tie earlier. Now he started unfastening the rest of the buttons of his blue shirt, though he was staring at her body in the mirror. "What were you laughing about?" he asked ( ... )

Aww, it's all sweet and just them. And it's always fun to see Ainsley happy after all the crap I'm putting her through. ;) For a pairing that started out with "ooh, pretty!" they've become remarkably well-matched.
