I just became a fan of Battlestar Galactica. After a friend's much persistence, I finally caved and began watching the first season. I have only gotten 8 or so episodes in, but it is great sci fi! It sucks I will need to try and cram more panels into my 09 Dragon Con experience this year that focus on BSG, and it will definitely impact my walk ( Read more... )

Update 12-14: VERY happy with the patterns I got. Priced some fabric that is perfect for the costume.

Just got my boots for my main 2009 Dragon Con costume! Not telling what the costume is yet, but maybe I will put piece by piece up as I buy or make them ;) I also will be using these boots for my steam punk costume, but I have no idea what the rest of the costume will consist of. That will come together piece by piece probably.

Went pumpkin and apple picking with the boyfriend! Now we have enough apples to last at least 3 weeks lol And 4 pumpkins to make the house look more festive, even though I would like to get a bigger one to carve.
