And, why do you assume just because she's 45 that it's a high risk pregnancy? Age alone is not the only factor in such matters, and speaking as a woman who's had many friends of friends who have given birth after 35, they would probably box your ears for that.

Also, how do you know what her doctor said? The woman has already popped out four kids before this one, I would assume that she would know her own body and labor better than any of you people out here.

AND, more to the point, your assumption that woman show at same amount is really really really really ignorant. For what it's worth, and you know this, my mother lost weight with both my brother and I, and she didn't show until month 6/7 with me, and month 7/8 with John besides chest gain. When she found out she was pregnant with me, she was 120lbs.

This entire entry pisses me off because it makes a lot of assumptions about a womans reproductive cycle. Considering that you've got a dick, you really shouldn't be questioning these things in such a matter.

Right, I forgot, having a penis makes one automatically unable to read any medical literature or have any factual knowledge about pregnancy--in fact, I almost failed a semester of Biology in high school because I can't remember anything about the subject. I mean, I barely even know women are supposed to be pregnant nominally for...hmm, is it six or four months? So hard to...cogitate...penis waves making...dumber...

Seriously, what the hell?

"Considering that you've got a dick, you really shouldn't be questioning these things in such a matter." is about as valid a statement as "Why aren't you in the kitchen getting me a sandwich?"
