Yeah, I know. I'm skipping about 7 episodes here. I do plan on getting around to the ones that I've missed, but I wanted to recap this episode first, because it's a bit more recent (i.e. easier for my puny brain to recall), and because it was an interesting one.

I love the little things you notice, such as Morgan's patient exasperation face.
I also found Reid's ignorance of Lady Gaga as implausible as his ignorance of Twilight. Nobody says you have to be a fan, sweetie, but considering this shit gets talked about on CNN on a regular basis would indicate you should have at least an inkling of globally insane pop culture.
And of course I'm also thinking, "They don't show their movies with subtitles?" I always figured Reid learned languages (as they show him at the beginning of "The Uncanny Valley") in order to read books in another language, as that one episode whose title I can't remember showed he doesn't actually speak any other languages well.
Also, total aside, did you notice they used the same musical motif in The Fox as they used in Uncanny Valley? Creepy.
I've gotta go eat dinner, so I'll be back with more in a bit. I'm not done yet!

I had to give you the credit you deserved for that one, because it made me laugh when you tweeted it. And it was true.
Morgan's patient exasperation face is almost exclusively linked to Reid's "Actually..."
Oh yeah... why WOULDN'T they have subtitles on that movie? I didn't think of that. And we know that Reid reads other languages because JJ asks him in "The Performer" if he reads anything but technical books, and he says "not in English." I forgot about that until just now.
No, I didn't notice the musical motif similarity in those two episodes, but I think I've only seen "The Fox" once, so that might be why.

Here's the thing about Emily Prentiss that I love. She was always a private person. She always had this part of herself that she kept separate from the team, and they were very aware of it and respected it. So it makes perfect sense she would have this whole backstory of which we would have little clue (though still, multilingual, please). I wish this whole episode had been nothing but Prentiss taking protective measures, as those brief scenes were much more riveting than anything going on with the unsub.
Um...I'm trying to think of more to say, because I haven't talked about CM in ages, but I'm drawing a blank because you've already said all the cool things there are to say. So maybe I'll think of more later. Or not.

I wasn't sure where they were going with the unpleasant woman. Be mean to your cab drivers! It could save your life! But I totally felt a kinship with her when she wrote the numbers down. I have such a terrible short-term memory. It's seriously awful. Yesterday, I asked this one shopkeeper if he had something. He didn't, but he sent me to the guy down the street and told me to ask for Mr. So-and-so. In the three minutes it took me to walk down the street and into the other shop, I completely forgot the guy's name. (It was Smith. D:)
Oh God, I love your recaps so much. Hotch and Rossi and their LASERS OF DOOM. Reid and his little ohnoes! faces! And poor, long-suffering Morgan may have been my favorite part. His face is very exceptionally pretty when his eyes are closed ( ... )

Thank you!!! I'm glad my silliness amuses others! :D
Morgan does look rather attractive when he's exasperated, doesn't he?
something about Rossi being all cool and collected while Hotch drives like a psycho is very sweet. They are BFFs! HAHA! Yes, you're right. It says something that Rossi trusts Hotch not to drive them off the bridge. I just love both of their expressions during the car chase. So intense, those two ( ... )

I know it's been ages since you've made this post, but I'd love it if you recapped one of the Reid-centric episodes in season six.
Thanks so much for posting these, I've enjoyed reading them.
