Awww, this was awesome! A bit of a departure from the norm, but I really liked it! It's nice to have a less "overtly" romantic scene between them that focuses on their awkwardness. I loved how you implied that it wasn't Sephiroth's cynical banter that ruined the moment, but rather when he had nothing more to say; the teasing back and forth was adorable. I loved the line, "That would certainly put a tragic end to your romance". ^_^ Loved it!

And you'll be pleased to hear that I've started another fluffy smutfic for our darling duo, this one from Hotaru's perspective... I'm hoping it will develop both characters a little (there's a lot of focus on Sephiroth, but I'm hoping it's stuff that also reveals Hotaru's character as well). I don't know when it's going to be ready, as I don't want to rush the moment, but I'll be sure to post it in LJ as soon as it's done. ^^
