Yesterday, one Uncle was taken to the hospital and the found a mass on one lung. Cat scan on monday...

Today, sister taken back to emergency room and admitted... surgery tomorrow....

Do I win a prize?

13th day in a row someone I know has been to the hospital or died (except for the student that collapsed yesterday, but I'll count that.)

Sister collapsed/fainted during a class she was teaching today. went home. later, was taken to emergency room.... *sigh* She's back home again, in great pain, and will be out of work for a number of days.

So, Bobby Knight was being interviewed on the radio this morning and was asked about a number of NCAA topics. His comment about the NCAA:

"This NCAA is so messed up right now that if they had been in charge of planning the Normandy Invasion, our troops would have landed in Portugual."

Gotta love inserting the history lesson in the sports story...
