Finally finished all of the lagging tasks from Spring semester, and now I am on BREAK! To further the glory of it all, the kids are still in school.

I just finished grading the LAST PAPER for this term!

Yay!

Excel's calculated the grades for me and all I need to do now is post them online at the school website. Yay!

I am so ready for summer! And it just started.

Being as terrified of dentists, and dental work, as I am (thanks to a psychotic sadistic dentist I had when I was a child), going to the dentist is a horrible experience for me.  Dental pain is cause for panic attacks. Leaving the dentist's office involves running at top speed. I hate it.

Happy Mother's Day!

This planning weddings thing is much more involved than I remember....Lots of details and decisions and research going on.
This week's frustrating search: photographer.

March is a good month for me.

March is usually a good month for me, being my birthday month, but this year it seems especially good. First, there was the tenure thing. This morning I received an email congratulating me on receiving tenure! Oh, Happy day!

This has been a long process, and I worked hard for it.

I am very pleased, and excited.

Yay!

This week I took the girls to Rudy's (Can't Fail Cafe) for dinner. When I told them that's where we're going, my 11 year old started singing the Clash song.

I'm doing something right.

I actually finished this a couple of weeks ago, but could not post about it before this week. It's a quilt I made for my new niece, and I figured her parents aught to see it first.

Earlier this week, on 1/11/10, my older brother and his wife welcomed their second child to the world! 
She is, of course, beautiful!.
The delivery went well, and baby, and mother, and father, and older brother, are all doing well!
Yay!
