Life and books
So, I'm volunteering to do a community baby shower. I'm excited about the idea, but dreading the actual day and work. They estimate they need around 50 volunteers but only six were at the orientation. And it's going to be a long day form 7am to 4 pm with no breaks. But I get a t-shirt, a free lunch, possible a gift of some sort and the good feeling ( Read more... ) -

barriers to meditation
When your mind wanders during meditation, you're supposed to gently without judging bring your mind back to your breath and follow it. For me, I end up laying there mentally saying "in, out, in, out, in, out, ..." which only distracts me further.
