It was ski time

I do ski, but my india trip and the following bout of illness had dampened my spirits to ski that I almost declared, " not skiing for me this season". But that changed, and i decided to go anyway. We started off real early, 4AM, the intent was to reach there for the first lesson @ Seirra -at-tahoe. On the way, instead of heading for a drive-by we ended up at Mels, and that put us back by almost 40 min, and with lot of people due to long weekend, meant that we would miss the class., and we missed it. It has been a while since i skiied and it was important to get refreshed with the skills. We headed off to the top of the moutnain and did the sugar-n-spice several times. It was an awesome feeling to get back the grips and movements.



Now we will be going back again, for atleast couple more times. Here are few things learnt
* Start skiing by 9am
* Wear lighter clothes
* Carry water backpack
* Wear short socks
* Stop skiing when you still have some energy left, dont overdo things
* Wear googles
* Head back early to beat the traffic
