Here's a progress on some practice junk that I'm doing to warm up for hopefully some bigger better things.

Me and JJ have a question for you XD;... would you be interested in cosplaying China from Hetalia for a skit/group at Katsucon?

It's not DEFINITE, but we're pretty sure we need one.

Also if you don't know the show or the character it's no big deal XD;, I can try and find some photos for you and give you a little insight on the "story"

And Hetalia with you guys would be fun! I don't know a whole lot, but I love the concept and I'm familiar with some of the characters. I think Switzerland is the cute! Even though he's apparently sorta bitchy.
But, yeah! I'd give it a shot.

What sucks is that I'm not sure if I can do Katsucon yet because, I'm still trying to find out what I'm gonna do about where I'm gonna sleep and how I'm gonna get there. I have a family friend who lives like 20 minutes away, so I'm considering that. Also, I'm not the greatest driver yet.

And I kinda don't know what to do in general because it would be the first con I attend by myself XD

If I can, I'd love to. Otherwise, didn't Jenni do China with JJ and Alli and NYAF? Maybe she can fill in? Unless, of course, she is settling on another character...

Awe I hope you can come, and don't worry about trying to fit in with people! We have tons of friends who you'd probably click with pretty well, and as long as you're not secretly crazy (which you didn't seem) then there's no reason you shouldn't be able to hang out with us :o.

Also Jenni is going to be our Japan. Me and JJ and Germany and Italy. I don't THINK Jenni has done Hetalia cosplay yet... but I could be wrong :l.

I was working on like 140lb cold press wc paper out of a strathmore pad, but I just bought something ridiculous like 2 sheets of 300lb cold press from plaza in towson about a week and a half ago that I will eventually be working on. It should hold up the paint better.

I seriously need to stop using so much water. It just doesn't work with acrylics...or maybe just with me XD

AHHHHHHHHHHH I HAD A WHOLE BIG THING TYPED AND LIVE JOURNAL ATE IT SLASH DIDN'T POST D:< So lets try this again. As best I can remember.

First, why you draw so damn pretty?! Hunh? Seriously. Everything I've attempted to draw/paint/anything in the last few months has turned out looking like crap. It's like I've temporarily lost my ability to do anything. I love how that looks though; you always were fabulous at acrylics.

You and Cortney look ridicuously adorable there. I'm so happy to hear you guys had such a fun time. Those pictures made me smile like crazy. And I'm totally loving her purple-blue rockin eye shadow.

Those earing just... look like you. So much. Little gems and swirls. They're really adorable. And I agree whole-heartedly on the purse. It's like, 'does it bother me that all of those designs are actually skulls? ... nah.' That was so sweet of her to buy it for you though. Makes me think she was wishing you a VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY, TO YOU (to me?). <3
