Super random post composed of a few little things bunched together. yay! I update weird.
Here's a progress on some practice junk that I'm doing to warm up for hopefully some bigger better things.
So, I'm practicing with acrylic which I hardly ever used in my life. And using a different paint is like learning how to paint all over again from scratch XD I was sitting there for like an hour brooding over how I can't treat acrylic like gouache...
Now that I've spammed you with some junky junk I'll put the rest under ze cut.
We tried and failed. badly. but our hearts were in the right place. Mind you, my camera sucks AND I was trying to take this picture while I was laughing.
Cortney came down from new york right around the time her birthday was happening so we decided to make a date out of it X3 Hanging out with Cortney is always awesome because we geek out SO BAD! We always know each other's deepest innermost fancies! We decided to go to this rotating sushi bar called Kyodai and we ate, drank ramune (which I was always afraid to try because I thought it would be sickeningly sweet), perused japanese girl's lifestyle mags for what's hip and happenin', and raped each other's ipods.
I can't explain to you how retarded we get together. I was so loud and laughing so hard ^^; but I just couldn't contain my happy! Let me just say that Space Channel 5 remixes are the shit and half XD I wish that I could have taken a picture of what she was wearing cause it was adowable ^w^
After late lunch we love edamame we strolled on down the street to 10 Car Pile-Up which is like a thrift/secondhand store for hipsters. and I got these earrings for like $2:
I totally almost got these ones that were straight out of velvet goldmine. so delicious. so gaudy.
Earlier I had spotted this bag and it looked pretty from far away. I got close and realized that it was composed of skull-paisley. Cortney and I both agreed it was at least sorta awesome. But it was like $20 so I was like, "nah."
We paid for our shit and started walking out the door when Cortney was like, "surprise!" SHE BOUGHT ME THE BAG! ON HER BIRTHDAY!! Let me just add that she has the most amazing ideas ever. She said that you should just buy presents for your friends on your birthday which means that you would get a present everytime it's one of your friends' birthdays...Instead of getting a present once a year, you get a present multiple times a year...and you would only have to remember your own...XD We couldn't stand the absurdity of it.
I'm sure that we must look high and drunk when we're walking down the street together. But that kinda happens with me and all of my good friends...maybe it's just me!

I go into the garage one day, and there's just a box of roses! just chillin'!

This was right outside my window later that night.

also, I must thank Meg for letting me know that Disney was premiering Tinkerbell last night. I did watch it. And for the most part, I love it XD
