This morning, I was getting ready for class when I somehow sprained my trapezius muscle.  I was just putting on a jacket when pop, my neck cracked, and I couldn't move.  In pain and unable to turn my neck, move my head or shoulders, or even walk properly with my backpack on, I lamely took the bus to class.  After class, I went to the student health ( Read more... )

Seeing you talk about how much fun you've had with Japanese so far makes me happy...and jealous. I wanna take Japanese~ Conjugation in Japanese sounds scary, though. Learning Spanish conjugation was frustrating enough. x)

Damn, I really wish I was going to your college. Now that I've really decided that I want to take Japanese, it's too late to go with a different college. So now I will have to spend one year at Northern Iowa and then transfer everything to the University of Iowa. asdlfkad;lf

Conjugation is definitely scary and difficult at first, but it just takes a bit of studying, and once you get it, you'll be so proud. It's also exciting, because once you learn conjugation, there are so many more things you'll be able to learn and say.

It's not uncommon for people to switch colleges after a year. That's totally alright. It's also not uncommon for some to transfer after a semester. So, if you want to change colleges but don't want to wait a whole year, that is always an option.

Transferring after a semester...would be ideal, but I dunno if I really want to move my crap around during the middle of winter...also, I would probably be stuck with a random roommate or something, and I can only imagine the horror story that could turn into. xD As much as I am desperately wanting to learn Japanese NOWNOWNOW, I'm just going to have to wait until my sophomore year...ugh I just want to learn some basic stuff now, you know? Feel like I'm actually doing something until sophomore year ( ... )
