Haha, actually, that was just me being too lazy to type my own name! Only one of them calls me that sometimes, but for the most part, it's Miss Battinelli or Mrs. Battinelli, lol.
I refer to myself in the 3rd person often in the classroom, though, lol. I think I should start calling myself Miss Batt and see if it catches... ;)

That's so funny, my boss does the same thing, as do a couple of other teachers! Why do teachers do that? I, personally, could never do that; it sounds so weird and unnatural to me!
Hahaha, I never thought I would, but it just ends up happening!! It's kind of a result of 2 phenomena - 1), You hear your name being screamed ALL DAY LONG and feel compelled to refer to yourself in the same way that they do, and 2) You start to recognize the subtle differences between the people that are "Miss Battinelli" and "Michele". I use it when I've got my (vaguely sarcastic) teacher hat on, lol ;)

That's so funny, my boss does the same thing, as do a couple of other teachers! Why do teachers do that? I, personally, could never do that; it sounds so weird and unnatural to me!
