This was strange...in a good way. Like going to the gym drunk. It's so weird to imagine the two of them as anything more than just sex. And of course I'd prefer if Jack was with Liz, but you can't win 'em all. Well done :D

lolz. I do think it's strange to consider them in an actual relationship -- I mean, I'm into Jack/Jenna and I've never really considered writing them as anything but casually hooking up -- but I was in the mood to experiment. And thank you!

Oh, on a completely unrelated note, they've started taking prompts for the femslash porn battle, in case you want to leave prompts for Liz-on-girl action (and eventually write Liz-on-girl action).

(Although maybe you already know about it. But it doesn't hurt to spread the gay word.)

OK, "Bunny-Love"? I have no idea how you came up with that. Ha.

It's definitely weird to read domesticated Jack and Jenna, but it was a good change of pace. And with an undercurrent of sadness, because I feel like the kids issue would eventually be a dealbreaker.

So, I turned on my computer this morning to find Baldwin-gate in full swing. Don't know about you, but I'm finding the whole thing really freaky.

I can say that I wanted to come up with a crazy kid's movie about the Easter Bunny, since they've done a Tooth Fairy movie and a Santa Claus movie. But I kind of don't know why I brought tennis into it.

I'm glad it was. It was strange to write, but in a good way. I do have a continuing desire to branch out of my comfort zone, so this sated that a bit.

Yeah, as soon as I woke up, I checked my flist -- I don't always do so, but I did this morning -- there was a thing about him being taken to the hospital, and though the post was edited to reflect that he was fine, I saw the subject line and freaked out a bit. And it's getting pretty strange... it seems that he's blaming the incident on Kim Basinger and, you know, I don't think anyone will accuse me of being a big fan of hers, but I really don't like that he's accusing her of putting his daughter up to calling 911.

To make it more awesome?

The other day I announced on Facebook that I was writing a cartoon about a clever Russian insect, called "Cagy Bee."

And it's getting pretty strange... it seems that he's blaming the incident on Kim Basinger and, you know, I don't think anyone will accuse me of being a big fan of hers, but I really don't like that he's accusing her of putting his daughter up to calling 911.

Um, yeah. I mean, I didn't see that, but I'm not sure how she even comes into it. According to some law enforcement guy, he and Ireland were fighting and he threatened to take some pills?? (Not a great thing to do.) And I don't know if he did or didn't, but maybe Ireland was like, "Well, I'll teach him to make empty threats!" Aggh, so much dysfunction.

OK, so apparently he's saying Kim Basinger alerted the media about the 911 call to embarrass him, not that she forced Ireland to call. But still! Like it isn't always news when a celebrity is rushed to a hospital. She must have leaked Michael Jackson's death too...

I want to make it clear that I didn't blow reading this off because I am Jack/Liz biased. I have no frieking time, haha xD

But seriously, this was weird for me! It's so weird to think of them together. But the way that you write it and somehow come up with stuff that sounds like it would actually be on the show (Bunny-Love) just continues to amaze me =)

Heh, everyone who commented said this was weird to read! Which I totally get, but I appreciate you giving it a chance in any case. And thank you! I'm glad you liked Bunny-Love; I was proud of the weirdness of the idea.

I get it and I don't. It's well-written and thought-out and all, as I would expect of your writing, but I miss Liz. I can't see her not being a factor in their lives. I just can't really see them as a couple. This on me tho'. Nice if different.

Well, I did mention Liz. Do you mean as far as her being an obstacle to Jack and Jenna being a couple? But, yeah, I think most people think Jack/Jenna coupley fic to be weird, but that's okay. I expected people to think it weird. But I'm glad you thought it well-written, in any case.

Well, sort of, not that I believe she'd ever stand in their way...it's hard to put my finger on. I just cannot see those two being closer than Jack and Liz are. To me, there is instant closeness with those two no matter how they fool with the relationship. It's just inherent somehow. I don't see Jack and Jenna getting there without her changing a great deal. And I don't see Jack being motivated to change for Jenna as mean as that sounds. Whereas he has already shifted in increments for Liz.

This is just my idea of the characters tho' which I can't quite shift past. Maybe don't want to ;D I still salute you for making the choice to go there and write it plausibly. And I mean that sincerely cos I know how it can smart if someone doesn't get what you're going for.

I think they are setting the stage for Jenna to mature and look for an actual relationship, which is part of what motivated me to write this. And most of the changes in Jack, I think at least in the context of this fic, aren't so much motivated by Jenna as him getting older and valuing different things. But I do get what you mean, and I do think he and Liz are always going to be important to each other, even if they end up in romantic relationships with other people.

Thank you, I do appreciate that. :)
