I just spent 4 months on vacation! I can hardly believe it myself. Now I'm back in the US and feeling odd and confused. My big decision is moving before winter hits. Southward and warm are my criteria. So many choices!! I'm getting overwhelmed. But I should be glad that is my biggest problem in life. -
The Deer Puzzle
Occasionally, my cat leaves me dead mice, which is can be a unpleasant surprise. It depends on how much they leave me. But my dog likes brings me bigger presents. Like the dead deer part in the middle of the driveway today. Guess what part it was THIS time. It's a guessing game because in previous winters, I have slowly collected the ENTIRE thing. Merry Christmas Aussie! I will do things for you that I will not do for others!
Well, my poor dog, Aussie, has suddenly has hind leg problems. They were a shaky & weak but its gotten much worse in the last week. They aren't holding his weight at all. He's only able to crawl forward using his front legs. We have a vet appointment tomorrow to see what is the problem ( Read more... ) -
Note to self:
If your mother and sister are gone for a two and a half month vacation. Don't wait to thoroughly clean the house until the last minute. You will have lots to clean because those messes were small but they added up over two months. Then you get to notice how the cleaning product fumes burn your nose and it will be strong in all parts of the house ( Read more... ) -

The problem with living in a rural areas is that it takes EFFORT for anyone to visit you. Who wants to put forth all that?

DOG, THAT WAS VERY POOR TIMING !
My poor dog, Aussie, hasn't been feeling well over the last few days. So when he woke me at 3am, I wasn't upset. Better to let him out than find an unpleasant surprise. How to have a really bad birthday...even on a Saturday night.
I've been thinking of events in my life that were slightly horrible at the time. Looking back, they are kind of funny. Way, way after the moment passed.
