Daily Awesome

There haven't been many Daily Awesomes lately (what can I say, old non-posting habits are hard to break), but there have been awesome days.

Awesomeness includes (but is not limited to):

making caldo gallego (including the ham stock from scratch) and cinnamon ice cream for dinner with friends

making gluten-free muffins and pancakes from this set

My big accomplishment, followed by a day and a half of doing very little, was running a half-marathon on a very hot day.

bits n pieces of DIY and painting. every time I visit my half sister in Cinci it makes me want to sort the house out so I've been painting hall walls and ceilings and filling in holes in plaster and laying tiles on the terrace and tidying things up and generally sorting the house out. lots done, lots still to go!

My primary awesomeness is BREATHING in and out, 24/7, with the help of drag-along nose-hoses and multiple medications. Works for me . . . . .

Are you never going back to working with electrickery as a professional, if I may be so bold (and nosey) as to inquire? From much that you'd journalled, I thought it made you happier than anything aside from the Agent and her wonderful Dad.

I'm knitting fabulous yarn up into a warm, cushy shawl. And getting ready for Jewish Hippie Bible Camp (http://www.havurah.org/institute) coming up next week. :)
