This is what happens when you try to leave Timaru
Two weeks ago today, I tore the meniscus and medial ligament in my left knee. I'll need further investigation to see if the ACL is involved as well. After that, who knows. I may be looking at surgery, or at the very least some intensive physiotherapy.

... because I was too busy going to the doctor, being told I don't have pneumonia (yay), and being signed off work for the week (boo) then recovering from being Outside but...
It was my and the DH's 14th wedding anniversary yesterday. And if anything I love him more now than I did then. Never thought that was possible, but there you go. -
Update
Just talked to Mum, there is extensive damage to her land, cracks in the foundation of the house, the front door doesn’t open, they have phone but no power or water or sewage. Liquefaction and “sand volcanoes” all over the place. Both cats have taken off. Woody didn’t come back for 3 days after the September quake. Bookie hid under the bed for that ( Read more... ) -
