Sophie, Bun and the 4th of July

Hey all.
First, a small request:

Send some good vibes to my cats, please?

Secondly, I really hope y'all have a wonderful holiday. Tell me what you're doing?

And before I forget, let me put the rest behind the cut because I know some would rather not see.

Hugs for you and Greg and your kits.
What do you feed them?

we give them Iams light (crackers) and the iams canned cat food. It's overkill, but sophie has to be able to get to food when her blood sugar drops.

*hugs and thank you*

I've heard people say that humans didn't used to die of cancer (much) because they simply didn't live long enough to get it. Maybe that's a function here, at least in Sophie's case? (I'm not sure how old your other cats were.)

Well -- Harz was 10. Simon was 13. Bun is 15 and Sophie is 18.

Technically they could be considered elderly, but I really didn't expect 4 of my cats (Arthur and his brother Roland lived with us on Loree ave. for 4 years before he went to a friend who wanted a pair of cats) to get cancer pretty much all at the same time (Arthur - Jan; Simon - March; Harz - June and now Sophie, july).

It's possible it's age in sophie's case. I don't know. I know, and this is sad, I guess, but I really expected her to have something. I also thought she'd be the first.

The doctor was absolutely amazed at her health otherwise. *boggles*
