New Year's Eve - 2008/2009

All in all, not an especially exciting New Year's. Spent the first part of the day watching Jessy, and then took her and myself to the hospital to visit with Ariel. We spent the rest of the day there, until we got thrown out at 8:30. Since then we've been watching X-Files and Friends and preparing to drink our apple cider.

Gall stones. Well, at least that was the initial diagnosis. When they went in there on Tuesday to take her gall bladder out it was, like, four times a gall bladder's normal size and necrotic.

Good thing we got her in for surgery so quickly after the gall stone diagnosis. Geez. You'd think "huge and necrotic" would be something the ultrasound could've seen.
