I saw that too. It could make sense if Keven happened to donate sperm to that sperm bank (next to IHOP hehe). I could also see Michael being upset that the baby is not only not his but Kevin's and calling the baby ass-turd. I wouldn't put anything past Michael :).

Even so, I hope those things are false.

lol. Right. He went to IHOP, then felt the need to go donate some sperm. Sounds like something he's do, I guess. And yes! I most definitely hope its false! I wonder what Jan's gonna think if she finds out that its Kevins.

PLEASE BE FALSE, PLEASE BE FALSE, PLEASE BE FALSE, PLEASE BE FAAAAAAALSE!!!!! Kevin??!! I mean really.....KEVIN??!! Ok, yes I could see the *slight* humor in it, but that is 50% of his genes in that baby!!! That's 50% of slight mental disability and let's face it, Kevin ain't the greatest lookin guy....so no looks either! No, no. I am going to force myself to believe it's not true and it won't be true. It won't!!! lol

Kevin doesn't actually have a mental disability though. Not even a slight one. In my mind, if Michael is not the father, that 50% could be from anyone, someone even worse than Kevin. I don't think Kevin being the biological father would be the worst thing in the world.

Yeah i know he doesn't have an "official" mental disability, but let's face it. He's definitely not the sharpest crown in the 24 pack ya know what i'm sayin?? In my mind Kevin will always be kinda mental without ACTUALLY being mental lol. And that kid in "Take Your Daughter To Work Day" wasn't even his. It was Stacy's so who knows how good a dad Kevin was lol.

lol. Well maybe this will be even sadder, y'know..
After the snip snap Michael will found out that Jan prefers Kevin's baby over his?

I will cry.

I don't think Jan would "prefer" Kevin's baby. She would probably be pretty upset about it as well. Maybe that will make her realize that goin to the sperm bank was a stupid idea.

I agree! The sad thing is that its not some little thing she did here. This is a human life. She already made a HUGE mistake by going to the sperm bank in the first place. And if its the best in the state or city, or whatever it was, do you really think they'd accept KEVINS sperm? Lol

i saw this over at e!online. i don't know what to say anymore about these two - ever since "the job," i keep thinking things could not possibly get any worse, but it has just been a brutal & unpleasant run ever since. season 4 was a disaster and i thought maybe s5 would get better, but it's not off to a good start. have y'all seen the deleted scene at nbc.com with michael & jan? it's more of the same from the s4 dynamic. i don't know if i have the energy to keep up with this pairing anymore. why can't the writers not even throw us a tiny, tiny bone with something positive? the more they ruin jan, the less i'm able to enjoy the rest of the show. i guess that's b/c i'm bitter that they ruined jan just to make some bad jokes & i've lost some respect for them as a result.

sorry for the negativity, i just feel like the writers don't care at all about jan.

No, no, no needs for apologies! Lol, I understand what you're saying. I think that it wouldn't be SO bad if they just gave us an ounce of Jan's vulnerbility, you know? They never talk about 'why' she's like this, which makes it harder for us to accept this turnaround she's had. The most caring we've ever seen her is in 'Money'. That's it. If we found out a little bit of what was going on in her personal life or what DID go on, I think we could sorta have some understanding to why she's a bit 'bi-polar'

exactly!!! if we could see even the tiniest bit of vulnerability, even just a couple second's worth every few episodes, at least then i could balance that against all of the "bad jan" moments. but they give us absolutely nothing, and it's gotten to the point where i honestly don't know why they even speak anymore. in the past several episodes, neither jan nor michael seem to have any love for each other. i don't get it. the writers destroyed jan and the m/j coupling.

and by the way, it's really not at all reassuring to see the interviews melora has done lately. she is very vague in discussing whether she thinks jan really wants/loves michael.

one other thing - we've all been talking about the possible spoiler that kevin is the sperm donor. what about the other possible spoiler that michael names the baby ass-turd. if this turns out to be true, wouldn't you assume that something bad happens that prompts michael to use that name? which means more bad m/j interaction. i really hope the bad thing isn't discovering that kevin is the father. i swear, if that happens, i will officially wash my hands of m/j. that would be too much.

ok, i've dominated this thread enough. i will step back and let someone else balance out my negativity. ;)

Heh, you are too funny! Lol. As for the 'ass-turd' thing. I really think thats just a Michael-ism. I don't think something else horribly goes wrong.

Lol. I don't think you'll ever be able to wash your hands clean from Michael and Jan. I mean, I think The Dinner Party was everybody's all time low for that couple. But yet, we're still here, discussing away...I do, however still believe there will be something sweet that will happen. Maybe we meet Jan's family? Thatd be kinda awesome. They could talk and make up and that could be what it takes for Jan to turn sane again. lol.
